I'm an IT specialist with a strong experience in various fields ranging from Internet services architectures to development and deployment of applications for the financial industry.

I've been in charge of the Messaging infrastructure for one of the most important organizations in the world of research. The service was providing access to Internet mail and address books to more than 15k users.

Lately I've been heading the Financial Models and Systems unit in one of the most important banks in Italy. The Unit was responsible for the selection, development and customization of quantitative models, and for their implementation and integration in the Front Office systems. Moreover the Unit took care of the administration of the  system (based on Murex) and all other activities related to the application of technology to the Finance field.

After a few months spent in another well established italian financial institution - for which I've been leading several projects still in the financial technology domain, actively assisting at the same time the high level management in the definition of the strategies for the evolution of the computing infrastructure - starting from October 2006 I've been heading the IT Dept. for one of the major fund managers in Italy.

Since 2008 I've joined one of the biggest Banking Groups in Europe moving towards Project Management: I've been personally leading several initiaties in the world of Internet Banking and eBanking solutions and I've led the international Project Management team within the company.

Within the same Banking Group I'm currently responsible for the Project Management and Service Implementation Management processes (defining the rules and responsabilities for the software development lifecycle process) and I'm leading the Environment Industrialization team which leads several initiatives aimed at industrializing the software development lifcecycle process.

Since May 2013 I'm a member of the Italian Board of IPMA (www.ipma.org).

I'm italian mother tongue and I fluently speak and write both english and french.

I've received several awards all over my professional career.

I'm 41 years old and I was born in the Dolomites: some of the most beautiful mountains in the world!
